The problem
Field staff recorded jobs on paper and re-entered them at the office, so data arrived a day late and transcription errors were common. Earlier app attempts failed because they assumed a live connection.
Our approach
Offline-first from the start: work is captured to local storage and synced opportunistically, with conflict resolution for records edited in two places. Photos are queued and uploaded when bandwidth allows.
The outcome
Job data captured once at the point of work, available to the office as soon as a connection returns, with no paper re-entry step.
